1. The Practical Aquaponics discussion forum has been in operation for the last 5 years...

We have enjoyed giving this service free of charge however ongoing increasing financial costs of running this service is making it increasingly difficult. Up until now we have resisted advertising as a means of a revenue stream to help run this forum but it has become inevitable that extra revenue is required to run this forum.

We have introduced a donate button to help offset the cost of running this forum. It is completely voluntary, but if you would like to donate, all donations would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks Murray..

Great pics. Keep them coming. I will show them to my students to prove what can be done and and show them their destination.

Update on the plant..celery in system. I have had a aphid problem with the celery and I have been trying and to some extent controlling them organically...now I am running away from the problem...had enough and I am happy with the results growing celery......move onto something else. I want to remove the celery and clean the rafts and re plant lettuce seedling I am growing

The BSF are amazing, just how much vegetable matter they can consume is astonishing. Thanks for the pix Francois.

do you have any air stones in your raft system or do you rely on the water getting oxygen in it from general water action through the system
